AI marketing built for India

WhatsApp first, ten Indian languages, rupee billing. Not a US product with a currency toggle.

Most marketing automation is built for a US business and adapted for everyone else afterwards. You can tell: pricing in dollars, WhatsApp treated as an integration rather than a channel, and "multi-language" that means Spanish and French. SMAAI is built the other way round.

WhatsApp as a primary channel

In India, WhatsApp is where business actually happens. SMAAI treats it that way — two-way campaigns on Meta's official Cloud API using your own business number and approved templates, with replies handled automatically inside the 24-hour conversation window and escalated to you when someone is ready to buy.

It also works as an acquisition channel: click-to-WhatsApp ads on Facebook and Instagram open a conversation with your business directly, instead of sending someone to a landing page and hoping they fill in a form. For most Indian SMBs that converts better, and the contact lands in your CRM either way.

The safety rules matter here more than the throughput. Cold first contact is always an approved template, opt-outs are permanent and checked at the sending layer, landlines are excluded, and the whole lane pauses itself if Meta drops your quality rating. Getting a business number restricted is a far more expensive mistake than sending fewer messages.

Indian languages, properly

SMAAI generates content in 18 languages, and ten of them are Indian: Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu — plus Hinglish as a language in its own right, because that is how a large share of Indian audiences actually write on WhatsApp and Instagram.

The hard part is not translation, it is the poster. AI image generators cannot render Malayalam, Tamil or Devanagari text — they produce letter-shaped noise that looks broken to anyone who reads the script. So for those languages SMAAI generates the image with no headline text at all and overlays the headline itself in the correct font, instructing the image model to keep that band dark enough for the text to stay readable.

Hashtags stay in English in every language, because they are universal and translating them costs you reach.

Rupee pricing, GST handled

Billing runs through Razorpay in INR, with 18% GST calculated and added server-side rather than left as a surprise at checkout. No international card required, no foreign transaction fees, no currency conversion on every invoice.

Built for how Indian businesses actually sell

The lead scraper defaults to Indian geography and validates Indian mobile numbers properly — ten digits, starting 6 to 9, with country codes stripped and sequential or repeated-digit fakes rejected. The festival and seasonal calendar drives campaign timing, so posts land with Diwali, Onam or Eid rather than a week after.

Lead follow-up picks the channel someone is actually reachable on. For a lot of Indian buyers that is WhatsApp rather than email, and the CRM tracks all four channels — email, phone, WhatsApp and LinkedIn — separately for exactly that reason.

What is not live yet

Google Ads and Google Business Profile automation are built but not switched on. If Google is the main channel you need managed today, SMAAI is not the right tool for that part of your mix yet, and we would rather say so now than after you have paid.
